Thank you. Your generosity, especially in times like these, is an answer to a many prayers. What you have done for me and my family has allowed us to breathe a little easier. I have one more weight lifted off of my shoulders and can hold my head up and say today is blessed. I will pray for each person who read my request, wether or not they were able to donate, because they took to time to hear my voice. I can look into my boy's eyes and show them that this is why God created hearts so people have a way of showing that they have love for others. Some day I will be able pay it foreward. My thanks to all the generous contributors that were able to provide the assistance I had requested. I am extremely thankful for the Modest Needs Foundation and all of its members who are helping the people of our great country during these tough times. As my family pulls itself back on solid footing we will be looking into what we can do to give back to this wonderful organization. Thank you again for your help from myself and on behalf of my family and continued support to the needy families in our great nation.

I can't begin to tell everyone who donates to Modest Needs how thankful I am for their generosity. I used to think that if I couldn't donate a large amount to a charity, it wasn't worth it. Now I see what $5 or $10 from several people can do. It just so happens that as I receive this money to catch up on the bills that keep me awake at night, my newborn is sleeping through the night. Things are looking brighter today. Thank you!

IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY UPSETTING TO MISS WORK AT A NEW JOB,NOT ABLE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR FOR LACK OF MONEY, AND TO BE UNABLE TO MAKE RENT WAS MAKING ME EVEN MORE SICK!!!! I would like to thank Modest Needs and the donors who funded my grant request. I have always been able to provide for my family until this year. With two recent lay-offs and several months without income I have become overwhelmed financially. My wife stays home to care for her aging mother whom requires full time care and our daughters age two and 7 months. My wifes mother is 83 and has congestive heart failure,demensia and a muscle disease. She is on oxygen 24 hours a day which contribute to the electric usage. We are under tremendous stress and our electric bill has grown due to recent rate increases. A huge burden has been lifted from my family with this grant. We will be delighted to donate to Modest Needs once our financial situtaion becomes more stable. Thanks again everyone and God Bless you all. Chris Bauman

When I received the email that I had been given the help I needed, I felt so grateful that there are people out there who understand that there are bumps in life's highway and sometimes a little help can go a long way.
